Exciting Part-Time Opportunity at Code Ninjas Sherwood Park

Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the world’s fastest-growing kids’ coding center with over 500 locations worldwide, inspiring children aged 5-16 years with essential Coding and STEM skills through fun and hands-on projects in Game Development, Robotics, and STEM activities. Our center provides a dynamic and engaging environment where kids develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills—all while having a blast!

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Sensei (instructor). This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and has a passion for introducing them to the world of technology and STEM-based learning through fun, hands-on activities.

Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday: 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Additional hours will be available for PD Days or school holiday events.

Who Would Be a Great Fit?

Experienced in Block Coding, JavaScript, C#, Unity & Python
Love working with kids (ages 5–16) and understand how to keep them engaged.
Patient, positive, and a team player.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead engaging STEM and coding activities for young learners.
Follow a structured weekly lesson plan (training and materials provided).
Help set up and tidy the learning space before and after sessions.
Communicate positively with parents and fellow team members.

Requirements:

Must be a resident of Sherwood Park.
Professional demeanour and appearance.
Completion of a Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check is required for all successful applicants.
