GENERAL MANAGER / MANAGING DIRECTOR Savvy Smart Deals

THE ROLE
Savvy Smart Deals is looking for a senior operator to run the business end to end.
This is not a traditional General Manager role.
You will have full responsibility for the commercial performance of Savvy Smart Deals, including:
- P&L
- Product strategy
- Sourcing
- Pricing
- Marketing
- Traffic
- Sales
- Inventory
- Budgets
- Operations
- Team performance
- Growth
You will effectively operate Savvy as the business owner, with responsibility for turning products into profitable, scalable businesses.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Business & P&L
- Own revenue, margin, profit, budgets and forecasts
- Manage marketing spend and operating costs
- Review weekly performance and take corrective action quickly
- Ensure every major product and channel has clear economics
Products & Sourcing
- Continuously identify strong new product opportunities
- Evaluate market demand, competition, margin and scalability
- Work with suppliers and sourcing teams
- Negotiate price, MOQ, terms, production and lead times
- Manage product launches and seasonal planning
- Decide what to launch, scale, improve or discontinue
Marketing & Offers
- Own product positioning and offer strategy
- Approve pricing, bundles, discounts, upsells and recurring revenue opportunities
- Direct landing pages, advertorials, checkout, creative and video strategy
- Drive conversion-rate, AOV and customer-value improvements
- Ensure every offer is commercially ready before significant traffic is released
Traffic & Sales
- Build relationships with affiliate networks, publishers, media buyers and traffic partners
- Negotiate payouts and commercial terms
- Secure profitable traffic at scale
- Expand successful offers into new geographies and channels
- Manage Shopify, direct-response funnels, affiliates, Amazon, remarketing and other sales channels
Inventory & Operations
- Own inventory planning and purchasing decisions
- Prevent stockouts and excessive inventory
- Improve use of existing inventory through new offers, bundles and upsells
- Coordinate suppliers, fulfillment, logistics and warehouse operations
- Ensure operational problems do not interrupt sales
Performance & Analytics
You must understand and actively manage:
- Revenue
- Gross and net profit
- CPA
- ROAS
- RPC
- CVR
- AOV
- Affiliate payouts
- Payment approval rates
- Refunds and chargebacks
- Inventory levels
- Recurring revenue
- Customer lifetime value
This is a data-driven role. Decisions should be based on economics, not opinion.
Leadership
- Lead the Savvy business and operating team
- Set priorities, owners and deadlines
- Hold teams accountable for results
- Coordinate sourcing, creative, marketing, technology, analytics, finance and operations
- Recruit and develop strong people
- Remove roadblocks and keep execution moving
WHO WE WANT
We are looking for a proven owner-type operator, not a corporate administrator.
You should have meaningful experience running or scaling an e-commerce, DTC, consumer-products or performance-marketing business.
Strong candidates will have:
- Senior leadership experience
- Direct P&L responsibility
- Experience launching and scaling products
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of performance and affiliate marketing
- Experience with Shopify and direct-response e-commerce
- Strong financial and analytical ability
- Experience managing marketing budgets
- Understanding of sourcing, inventory and supply-chain economics
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent English
- Strong technology and AI skills
Experience with international e-commerce, Asian sourcing, Amazon, recurring-revenue models and payment optimization is a strong advantage.
