We’re currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Victoria location. In this role, you’ll be responsible for engaging with our customers by phone, email, or in our showroom and kindly assist them with their needs. You will also assist in our warehouse by picking orders as needed.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:

Kindly greeting and answering customer inquiries at our customer service counter.

Respond, communicate, and provide timely information by phone or email.

Assist customers by processing orders, product returns and claims, and picking orders as required.

Ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction while delivering best-in-class experience.

Maintain showroom by keeping shelves stocked and faced, routinely cleaning displays, and ensuring floors and aisles are kept clear.

Support the Outside Sales team by being a direct point of contact for their customers for prompt servicing of their needs.

Learn about the variety of product we distribute, how they’re used, and apply that knowledge to offer solutions for our customers’ needs
Requirements :
-
Must be fluent and well-spoken in the English language; French is an asset
-
Experience working in a B2B environment in a sales role, at a contractor’s desk in a lumberyard, or one of the big box stores would be an asset.

Experience in the cabinet & millwork or related industry is a strong asset.

Familiar with order entry processes and procedures (AS400).

Strong organizational and time-management skills, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize workload.

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence, and comfort with both telephone and in-person contacts.

Self-starter and willingness to take initiative.

Independent in carrying out daily tasks.

Intermediate-to-advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Efficient computer keyboarding skills.

Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments.

Participate in training sessions on new products.

Able to regularly lift 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.

Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Must currently reside within 25 km of the Greater Victoria area.
