Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to oversee the daily operations and overall performance of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for staff leadership, customer service, inventory management, purchasing, merchandising, sales growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day store operations
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Manage inventory, purchasing, receiving, stock rotation, and merchandising
- Coordinate with suppliers and maintain vendor relationships
- Monitor sales, expenses, and store performance
- Manage cash handling, POS operations, deposits, and reconciliations
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Support promotions, marketing initiatives, and community engagement
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Perform other duties reasonably required for the successful operation and growth of the business
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail management or supervisory experience
- Experience in a health food store, grocery store, pharmacy, wellness, or specialty retail environment preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of store performance
Education & Certifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, Nutrition, Health Sciences, or a related field is an asset
- Certified Natural Food Advisor (CNFA), Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (NNCP), Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP), or similar certification is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of natural health products, supplements, and specialty foods is highly desirable
