A.Duties & Responsibilities
1. Wet System PH levels and chemical feed pumps
2. Rack maintenance / cleaning - prepare racks for cleaning
3. Viscosity checks (when applicable), Air balance readings, sludge system maintenance (when applicable)
4. Pressure Pot maintenance
5. Hand gun rebuilds (when applicable)
6. Paint line cleanliness
7. Centrifuge function and cleanliness
8. Water levels on wet systems
9. Filter storage and inventory
10. 10 Pmix function and teardown (when applicable)
11. Assist with paint trials
12. Mask upkeep - tag and prepare for repair
13. Oven /Air make up unit - filter change
14. Minor robotic changes with direction from robot tech. (when applicable)
15. Paint Kitchen Audit - Pumps/ pressure pots/air lines
16. Working with robots, PMIX systems, and other paint equipment.
17. Working with trials and new launches (programming, brush data adjustments, etc.)
18. Assisting Process Engineers and Production with daily issues, and troubleshooting.
19. Availability to travel to other UMMP facilities and training, in Canada & USA.
20. Other Duties as assigned
B.Minimum Qualifications
1. Experience in automotive or industrial Spray painting of solvent and/or water-based paint system.
C.Required Skills
1. Sound understanding of Paint line Activities.
2. Robotic Experience would be an asset.
3. Ability to train others would be an asset
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $32.17 -$32.77 per hour
