As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Recent phlebotomy experience (within 1-3 years) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient computer skills with experience in Epic Beaker LIS. Recent experience (within 1-3 years) performing neonatal skin punctures. Demonstrated ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure, fast-paced, and emergency settings, while managing and prioritizing multiple demands.
