Our client is seeking a Contract hands-on Azure Infrastructure & Platform Lead to support a large-scale cloud transformation and migration initiative within a complex enterprise environment.
This is a technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud platform engineering. The successful candidate will lead by example, remaining actively involved in the design, build, automation, and deployment of cloud infrastructure while collaborating with engineering, security, and delivery teams.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience building Azure environments from the ground up and implementing secure, automated cloud platforms that support enterprise-scale application delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Develop and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.

Lead cloud platform engineering efforts supporting migration and modernization initiatives.

Build secure, scalable, and automated cloud environments leveraging Azure-native services.

Implement DevSecOps best practices and integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.

Partner with development, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.

Drive infrastructure automation and platform standardization initiatives.

Establish deployment frameworks, governance controls, and operational best practices.

Support cloud migration projects involving legacy application and infrastructure modernization.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.

Mentor team members and provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.

Strong hands-on Azure cloud infrastructure experience.

Proven experience designing and building Azure environments from scratch.

Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Advanced experience with:
