About Us
Vteach Learning Centre is looking for a passionate and reliable Coding Instructor to teach children and youth. This program introduces students to coding, technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and creative problem-solving in a fun and engaging way.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with kids, can explain concepts clearly, and can make technology exciting and easy to understand.
Responsibilities
- Teach coding classes to students in elementary, junior high, and high school levels.
- Deliver engaging lessons in areas such as Scratch, Python, web development, robotics, AI basics, and beginner app/game development.
- Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
- Help students build projects and develop problem-solving skills.
- Adjust teaching style based on each student’s age, level, and learning needs.
- Prepare lesson materials, activities, and project-based learning tasks.
- Track student progress and provide updates when needed.
- Maintain professionalism and communicate clearly with students, parents, and the Vteach team.
- Ensure students are engaged, safe, and supported during class.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of coding and technology.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, robotics, Arduino, AI tools, machine learning basics, or game development.
- Experience teaching or working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Patient, reliable, creative, and enthusiastic.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners.
- Must be punctual and committed to scheduled classes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching coding to kids or teens.
- Knowledge of AI tools and beginner-friendly AI projects.
- Experience with project-based learning.
- Ability to develop fun coding challenges, games, or hands-on activities.
- Background in computer science, engineering, education, or related fields is an asset.

The ideal candidate is someone who loves technology and enjoys inspiring the next generation of coders. You should be comfortable teaching beginners, encouraging creativity, and helping students gain confidence in coding and AI.
