The Career Foundation is currently seeking a full-time Pest Control & Wildlife Technician on behalf of one of our employer partners.

Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 CAD annually
Number of Vacancies: 20–25

Position Summary: Our employer partner, a growing pest control and wildlife management company based in the GTA, is seeking motivated, reliable, and career-driven individuals to join its team as Apprentice Pest Control & Wildlife Technicians. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in developing a long-term career in a stable, hands-on skilled trade.

No prior experience is required. Successful candidates will receive paid on-the-job training, mentorship, and support in obtaining required industry licensing and certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect residential and commercial properties for pest and wildlife activity
Identify pest and wildlife entry points and recommend appropriate solutions
Implement safe, humane trapping, removal, and exclusion methods
Install preventative structural barriers, including netting and other exclusion systems
Perform hands-on work in outdoor environments and on active job sites
Work safely on ladders, roofs, in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas
Follow company protocols, safety procedures, and industry best practices
Maintain accurate service records and documentation as required
Interact professionally with customers and provide exceptional service
Travel to various service locations throughout Toronto and surrounding regions

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid full G driver's licence with a clean driving record
Must possess a valid Working at Heights Certification or be prepared to obtain one immediately upon hire
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and follow technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Comfortable working at heights, on roofs, ladders, and in attic or confined spaces
Physically capable of performing demanding work in various weather conditions
Strong commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and workplace safety
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
