Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Group Controller specializing in the automotive industry to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities across multiple business units. Your expertise will drive strategic financial planning, optimize accounting processes, and support sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering accurate financial insights that empower decision-making at every level.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Help and manage each of the controllers in the group.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining smooth cash flow management.
Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation across all departments.
Develop and monitor budgets, providing insightful variance analysis to inform strategic planning.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations and reporting.
Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify ledger accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
Perform detailed account analysis to support audit readiness and internal controls improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in financial management and ensure regulatory compliance.

Skills

Extensive experience with accounting software including PBS
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements within the automotive sector.
Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes efficiently.
Excellent skills in account reconciliation and account analysis for accurate financial data management.
Familiarity with industry-specific financial challenges and solutions in the automotive field.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
