About the Role
We're seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR/XDR) to serve as a critical bridge between our marketing efforts and our Demand Generation team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for inbound leads, responsible for quickly engaging prospects, qualifying their needs, and converting interest into qualified pipeline opportunities.
Beyond managing inbound leads, you'll work strategically alongside our Account Executive and Account Management teams to support their outreach efforts and help generate strategic pipelines. This means conducting targeted research, engaging key stakeholders within priority accounts, and creating a net-new pipeline.
Success in this role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter, creative problem solver and can seamlessly switch between responding to warm inbound leads with urgency and executing thoughtful, research-driven outbound campaigns. You'll leverage multiple channels: phone, email, and LinkedIn - to build relationships, uncover needs, and create opportunities.
This is a remote-first role open to candidates located in Canada.
About the Team
Centered around a culture of accountability, resourcefulness, and tenacity, our Demand Generation team consists of a diverse mix of individuals based in Canada. As the primary pipeline generation team, the team works both collaboratively and independently to bring about qualified new business opportunities to our Account Executives and Account Managers.
What You’ll Work On
Examine data around existing free users of our tool and work to convert them to paying customers
Build consultative relationships with Marketing & Sales leaders to understand wants/needs of an organization.
Leverage video, phone, email, and social selling techniques to breakthrough to prospective customers.
Own weekly and monthly goals centered around activity & pipeline generation.
Be exposed to a high volume of various pipeline generation activities that will afford you the opportunity to hone your skills as a salesperson.
Have daily interaction with your direct manager, teammates, or both, with a major focus on skill and career development.
Network with fellow BDRs as well as AEs, and Sales leaders in our tight-knit and collaborative sales organization.
Have designated pathways forward that will help foster your career growth within our sales organization.
What We’re Looking For
You have experience in sales, customer service or a BDR role and are passionate about building a career in B2B SaaS.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
You are comfortable or have proven experience using AI in your day to day work: making you more efficient, building cadences, identifying areas of opportunity.
You have an ability to strategically research and develop accounts for prospecting.
You are comfortable cold calling.
You are comfortable in front of the camera.
You are excited to thrive in a fast paced environment, developing the role as things evolve with our business.
You are passionate to learn and looking for personal growth in sales.
Experience prospecting into an existing customer base is an asset.

The salary range for this role is: $70k - $77k - $85k CAD OTE (75/25 split) in Canada. The salary range is designed to capture the full journey from developing skills to excelling in the role.
