QuikLevel Contracting, a leading civil construction company is seeking talented individuals to join a dynamic team. POSITON: Pipelayer

LOCATION: Fraser Valley

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a pipelayer, you will play a critical role in our operations, ensuring that civil contracting projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing the work area, including excavation, trenching, and removal of existing materials as necessary.
Installing pipes accurately, ensuring proper alignment, slope, and grade according to project specifications.
Assembling and connecting pipes using appropriate fittings, couplings, and joints.
Operating equipment such as pipe lasers, levels, and measuring tools to ensure precise pipe installation.
Performing tests and inspections on installed pipes to check for leaks, obstructions, or other issues.
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
Working collaboratively with the construction team, including equipment operators, laborers, and supervisors, to ensure efficient project execution.
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
Completing necessary documentation, such as daily work logs and reports, as required.
Safely locate and expose existing utilities with the support of an equipment operator.
