Hi, I am Tiago Ritter the Director of Advertising at Musora Media.
We are looking for a Video Ads Creator who comes up with the idea before anyone hands them a brief — the hook, the angle, the reason a drummer or a pianist stops scrolling — and then owns it all the way through: shoots it (or directs it), edits it, ships it, and checks whether it actually worked.
If you already make content like this on your own, a channel, a page, a portfolio that's entirely yours, no one assigning it to you, and you're the kind of person who needs zero direction to know what to make next, keep reading.
We're how the world learns music - Musora connects musicians across five instruments, drums, piano, guitar, bass, and voice (Drumeo, Pianote, Guitareo, PlayBass, Singeo) — pairs them with real human teachers, and gets them playing from day one. Not watching. Playing.
That's not a feature, it's a philosophy: Play To Learn. We don't win by being the cheapest app in the store, we win because nobody else does what we do. Our advertising has to reflect that. We're moving hard away from price-led, discount-driven creative and toward work that tells our story and makes people feel something.
Paid advertising is one of the largest, highest-leverage investments in the company, and we've built a dedicated team whose only job is to make ads that are bolder, faster, and better than anything we've made before.
Our leadership mandate is intentionally ambitious:
"We want boldness. Crazy ideas. The kind that sound a little impossible at first. We'd rather swing for something great than run another safe ad."
What You’ll Do (Key Duties):
-
Originate the Idea - You don't wait for a brief. You bring your own concepts to the table, for artist shoots, for evergreen content, for whatever's worth making next.
-
Write for performance - Hooks, angles, scripts, on-screen copy. You understand avatars, pain points, and buying psychology, and you build the first three seconds like the whole video depends on it.
-
Shoot it or direct it - Comfortable running your own camera, or directing an artist or ambassador on set — whichever the concept needs.
-
Edit at a high bar - Pacing, sound, motion, platform-native cutting for Meta, TikTok, and Shorts across five instrument markets.
-
Own the Result - You don't stop at "this looks good." You have a take on why it will perform and how we'll know within 90 days — then you iterate winners into more winners.
-
Set your own pace - Our advertising team works on an evergreen cadence, plus bigger featured campaigns. You manage your own priorities inside that cadence — we're not managing your task list for you.
What We’re Looking For (Who you are; skills, knowledge, abilities and more!):
-
Self-directed. You generate your own ideas and run with them, no one should need to stand over your shoulder telling you what to make.
-
Fluent in performance/direct-response creative. You know what a top-of-funnel ad is, why creative diversity scales an account, and why the hook that calls out the customer in the first line beats the clever one.
-
A writer. You can turn a positioning idea into a script and a scroll-stopping hook, not just cut what someone else wrote.
-
Comfortable directing humans, or being your own talent. You can run a shoot moment with an artist or ambassador, or shoot it yourself, and get what the video needs.
-
Craft-obsessed. Editing is your floor, not your ceiling, you're excellent at it and it's the least interesting thing about you.
-
Adaptive. Creative in essence. You can shoot with a smartphone or the latest Sony release, as long as your video reaches the right audience with the right message.
-
Allergic to "we think it's good." You argue creative calls with reasoning and evidence, and you're energized by being measured.
-
Somehow connected with music. You either play an instrument or love the musical environment, or you've made content in music, creators, or education.
Nice-to-Haves:
Bonus points if you:
-
Are experienced creating for a brand that sells on story and identity, not discounts.
-
Run your own channel, page, or portfolio where you have full creative control, we want to see that ownership muscle already in action.
-
Have worked inside a performance creative pod (strategist + media buyer + designer + editors) and know how to plug into one.
-
Have familiarity with tools like Triple Whale / AppsFlyer and thinking in metrics like MER, ROAS, and top-funnel signals.
Important Notes:
-
Please attach a cover letter to your resume telling us a bit about yourself, your experience, and why you’re interested in this role. This is your chance to go beyond your resume and help us get to know you better.
-
To ensure you’re viewing the most accurate and up-to-date job opportunities, please apply directly through our official website or through our trusted third-party sites (Indeed, Monster, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Talent.com & Ziprecruiter).

We don’t use AI to screen applications. So if you put real thought into your submission (and avoid generic, AI-generated responses), it will absolutely stand out!
