Position Summary
The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting customer sales activities, preparing quotations, coordinating orders, and acting as the primary communication link between customers, production, purchasing, and shipping departments. This role supports the sales growth objectives of Daequip Premium Attachments Ltd. by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and timely order processing for heavy equipment attachments and fabricated products.
The ideal candidate understands manufacturing environments, possesses strong organizational skills, and can effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Coordination
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Prepare accurate quotations for buckets, thumbs, couplers & custom attachments.
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Process customer orders and enter sales data into inhouse ERP systems.
- Coordinate with production scheduling to confirm manufacturing timelines and delivery commitments.
- Support outside sales representatives and management with customer account activities.
- Assist with preparing sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline tracking.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers, contractors, and industrial customers.
- Provide professional and timely communication regarding order updates and delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer concerns and coordinate corrective actions when required.
- Maintain customer records, pricing structures, and sales documentation.
Production & Operations Coordination
- Liaise with production, engineering, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure order accuracy.
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate delays or scheduling changes.
- Coordinate freight arrangements and shipping documentation when required.
- Assist with inventory availability checks and material coordination.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized digital and physical sales files.
- Assist with preparing presentations, customer correspondence, and marketing materials.
- Support trade shows, customer visits, and promotional activities.
- Ensure accurate data entry and document control.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination.
- Manufacturing, steel fabrication, heavy equipment, or industrial industry experience preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
