kreitmaker is a brick, block, stone, and concrete supplier in Toronto, Ontario - with a wide selection of masonry and landscaping products.

About the Role

We are looking for two full time Seasonal Yard Customer Service Representative with forklift experience (from now to mid-December) to support our team. One at our Leaside location located at 31 Industrial Street and the other at our Scarborough location located at 4170 Midland Avenue.

Depending on the role or day, this person may service customers in the yard by loading and unloading materials, and support proactive movement of materials on the premises and yard maintenance. May also be required to act as spotter for delivery trucks and to support the creation bags of aggregates.

Requirements

Must have valid forklift certificate
Excellent customer service skills
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills to work in a diverse environment
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Able to work on a 5-6-day rotating work schedule Monday through Saturday
Open to flexible hours depending on workload
Able to work independently and as a collaborative team
Strong ability to speak and read English

Working Conditions

Monday to Saturday on a rotating schedule
Overtime may be required
Interaction with customers/clients, and the public at large
Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 80-100 lbs.
Extended periods of standing
Hazards associated with conducting work outdoors (sun, rain, snow, etc.)
High noise levels
Regular exposure to conditions including heat, humidity, and dust
Repetitive work
Use of required personal protective equipment – must have safety boots (CSA Green triangle patch and CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega – Ω)
