ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Temporary 12 month contract) | Calgary, AB

A look at your benefits

You have a temporary full-time position (approx. 40hrs p/week), for about a 12 month contract.

Your tasks at a glance

You greet and check in patients, ensuring their files are accurate and complete.
You respond to patients' inquiries, providing exceptional service.
You admit patients for surgery and clinic appointments.
You work with electronic medical records, including scanning paperwork and data entry.
You confirm appointments and create invoices.
You perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the clinic operations.
You support the organization’s Risk Management program by identifying and promptly reporting patient safety concerns, incidents, or potential risks to clinic management, to assist in the organization’s overall efforts to identify, report, and mitigate risks.

A clear view of your assets

You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant, physiotherapy assistant, optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, veterinary assistant, etc.).
You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
Schedule: You have flexibility to work between Monday and Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, no weekends.
