Full job description

Office Admin Assistant/Customer Service

Full time position for Cashier/Sales Associate/Office Assistant.

Combined role Office and Front end Responsibilities

Provide customer service at frontend cash desks, completing customer transactions through point of sale system.
Answering phones, cutting keys, fedex shipping, e-commerce processing, filing and data entry, and some cleaning tasks and stocking.
Office duties will include daily balancing reporting, bank deposits, and filing, also assistance in accounts payable, accounts receivable. Ordering and maintaining office supplies.

Scheduling would be four weekdays and every second weekend. Split between two or three office days and one to two days and every second weekend front end duties. Shifts are 8 hours and vary between 7am to 8pm.

We have been operating in Okotoks and locally family owned for over 39 years. We are very focused on customer service and team work to provide the best environment for our customers, staff and community.

Experience and skills required, but will train the right candidate

excellent communication skills, with customers and team members
enthusiastic customer service skills and experience
reliable, responsible person with proven integrity
work well in team environment
at least 2 years customer service
at least 2 years experience POS, Cash experience
experience with microsoft office products, outlook, excel, etc
experience with POS reporting, balancing and auditing, bank deposits, book keeping an asset

Role will begin at Front end duties to gain the required experience and knowledge of the processes and procedures to have the knowledge to apply to the office responsibilities.

Wages will be based on experience and responsibilities. Full health benefits and staff discounts after 3 months. Wage and Performance reviews at three months and annually.
