About the position
LED Roadway Lighting Limited is seeking the best and brightest to join our growing team at our Manufacturing Plant in Amherst, Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector.
Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:
- Perform final inspection of manufactured electronic products, including PCB’s, cables, box builds, and document results.
- Document non-conformances and maintain/monitor the Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) generated
- Maintain/Update ISO Manufacturing documentation database
- Conduct First Piece Evaluations (FPE) of new products and changes to existing products and document the results.
- Provide feedback to the engineering group on any quality issues.
- Perform Incoming inspection, including XRF testing
- Provide feedback to the production operators on any quality issues
- Perform / document internal process audits
- Communicate with all departments to resolve quality related issues
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Good Understanding of Manufacturing Process
- Knowledge of IPC Workmanship Standards
- Ability to read customer drawings, BOM’s, Parts List
- Product Audit experience an asset
- Thorough understanding of document control
- Good understanding of component value and polarity
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare reports
- Strong attention to detail
- Team Player
- Computer Skills – Windows and Microsoft Family of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
