Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring smooth food preparation and maintaining a clean, safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the food industry. Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food handling to support chefs and kitchen staff
Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Help with serving food to customers or plating dishes as directed
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment
Assist in dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is a plus
Experience in food industry settings demonstrates reliability and understanding of kitchen operations
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and kitchen safety
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
