Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and food preparation, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our dishes, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Assist the kitchen manager in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
Collaborate with the kitchen manager to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Ensure proper inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency across all dishes.
Ordering too maintain stock and production
Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience in bartending or hospitality is a plus but not required.
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
