As part of an expanding sales team, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing revenue through both new and existing accounts.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and engage key decision-makers including Safety Managers, Operations Managers, HR Leaders, Business Owners, and Executive teams.
- Develop and execute prospecting strategies to generate qualified opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, outreach, referrals, and market research.
Research & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market and company research to identify organizations with training and compliance needs.
- Track upcoming projects and industry developments to uncover new business opportunities.
- Create targeted outreach strategies that resonate with prospective clients.
Present, Negotiate & Close
- Deliver compelling virtual and in-person presentations.
- Understand client challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives.
Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Develop long-term client relationships built on trust and value.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and recurring revenue growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client operational and compliance requirements.
Partnership Development
- Identify and recruit strategic business partners.
- Support onboarding and long-term success of partner relationships.
- Develop mutually beneficial opportunities that drive revenue growth.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of success.
- Strong closing skills and experience managing a full sales cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred
- Experience selling into the construction industry.
- Background in industrial, mining, equipment rental, manufacturing, transportation, or safety-related sectors.
- Experience selling technology, SaaS, training, compliance, LMS, CRM, or business solutions.
- Knowledge of workplace safety programs and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Existing industry relationships and network.
