Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.12-$21.63
Location: Shepherds Care Barrhead: 5236 59 Avenue, Barrhead, AB
Under the supervision of the LPN, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides person-centered support to residents by assisting with daily activities, mobility, meals, hydration, recreation and companionship. The PSW maintains clean, safe and welcoming resident and common areas, supports laundry and stocking of supplies and reports resident concerns or changes to the appropriate supervisor. Promotes resident dignity, choice, independence, safety and confidentiality while working collaboratively with the care team.
Consider applying if you have a Grade 12 diploma, strong communication and teamwork skills, a caring and respectful approach to seniors, and the ability to be dependable, flexible and attentive to detail. Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is an asset.
