Company Description

Chase Pharmachoice is independently owned and operated, and has been proudly serving Chase and surrounding areas for many years.

Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. There are two pharmacists each weekday and multiple pharmacy assistants. We are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm. No late evenings and we are closed all Sundays and statutory holidays.

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Registered Technician to join our team for 16-30 hours per week, typically between Monday and Thursday.

As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to:

Processing and preparing prescriptions
Performing final checks on prescriptions including pill packs
Counselling patients on the use of medical devices
Assisting patients in person and over the phone

The successful candidate will be a registrant with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, and will have:

Good verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Exceptional customer service skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task
Basic computer skills
Problem solving skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate.

If you are commuting from a nearby community, you may also be eligible for mileage reimbursement.

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
