- Education Required: High School Diploma
- Years of Experience Required: <2 years.
- Industrial Painting experience required
- Ability to work with different types of materials or products such as general metal products, construction materials solvents or coatings including understanding or able to learn mixing industrial marine coatings and products.
- Problem solving skills required.
- Must be able to wear respiratory protection as required.
- Physical effort and work conditions: Able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb.
- Must be capable of working at heights from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms and in extreme confined spaces.
- Frequently handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
- Occasionally lift and carry items that weigh over fifty (50lbs) pounds.
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in environmental conditions.
- You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job.
- A pre-employment physical is required.
- A background check will be performed by the Employer.
- Support extended hours and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Able to operate power and hand tools (like measuring tape)
- Able to read a drawing or blueprint is skills considered and asset.
