Mile High Poutine is a small operation with a big personality — and a lot of volume.
We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to build and lead a strong team, and isn’t looking for a management job that happens from an office.
Our space operates entirely through a walk-up service window. When Blue Mountain is busy, we are busy. This role is about being in the operation, leading from the front, keeping the team moving and making sure great food gets out quickly and consistently.
Who we’re looking for
You might come from quick service, a food truck, drive-thru, ski resort, seasonal hospitality, concessions, a busy kitchen or another high-volume operation.
More important than where you’ve worked is how you operate.
You can:
- Lead a team confidently during a rush
- Recruit, hire, train and retain great people
- Build schedules around changing business volumes
- Hold people accountable while maintaining a positive culture
- Jump onto a station when the team needs you
- Keep a very small space organized, clean and efficient
- Manage labour, food cost, inventory and operational standards
- Problem-solve quickly without waiting for someone else to fix things
- Stay calm when there is a lineup and the pace gets intense
Mile High is a walk-up window concept, which means the team works in an environment that is more connected to the outdoors than a traditional restaurant. You’ll experience the seasons — hot summer days and cold Blue Mountain winters. Appropriate seasonal uniform and weather attire are provided/expected, but you should genuinely be comfortable working in this type of environment.
The Opportunity
Mile High Poutine is part of an established hospitality group that has been operating at Blue Mountain for approximately 20 years. We operate multiple food and beverage concepts in the area and are continuing to grow.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume location while becoming part of a larger hospitality organization.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
