Brandon University is seeking Contract Academic Staff instructors in the School of Music to teach the following courses from September 9 to December 23, 2026 (Fall term) and/or from January 5 to April 26, 2027 (Winter term).
64/67:182 Aural and Keyboard Skill I 2 credit hours (Fall term)
64/67:183 Aural and Keyboard Skills II 2 credit hours (Winter term)
64/67:282 Aural and Keyboard Skills III 2 credit hours (Fall term)
64/67:283 Aural and Keyboard Skills IV 2 credit hours (Winter term)
These courses are co-taught with another faculty member. The Contract Academic Staff instructor will be responsible for a subset of sight-singing, rhythm, dictation, and/or keyboard skills portions of each course, in consultation with the other faculty member.
Teaching schedule: Aural/Keyboard Skills III and IV: Slot 2 (M/W/F – 9:30-10:20); Aural/Keyboard Skills I & II: Slot 4 (M/W/F – 11:40-12:30)
Qualifications: Master’s degree in music is required, Doctorate and/or relevant teaching experience preferred.

Salary: $5,421.33 per 2 credit hour course
