Jayne Industries Inc is currently seeking to fill an upcoming position as a:
Precast Laborer
Primary Purpose:
The Precast Laborer will work in a team setting to perform tasks involved in the installation of precast concrete. They are responsible for assisting with the precast mixer and the essential duties needed to complete the process.
Key Responsibilities / Skills:
· On-site layout for precast erection.
· Ensure components are erected in proper order.
· Load and unload essential materials.
· Assist in the mixing, pouring, and spreading of materials.
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
· Reliable and highly motivated.
· Working knowledge of concrete processing.
· Good physical coordination.
· Effectively use precision hand measuring tools.
· Analytical skills.
· Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials.
Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years’ experience in precast or a similar setting.
· Forklift Operator certificate – Preferred.
· Overhead Crane certificate – Preferred.
Working Environment:
· Manufacturing warehouse.
· Exposure to dust, dirt, heat, noise, and vibration.
· Standing for long periods of time.
· Overtime as needed.
· Travel – none.
Health and Safety Duties and Responsibilities:
· All employees shall work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations.
· All employees shall use and wear the equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the company requires to be used or worn.
· All employees will follow company policies and procedures.
Wage: $20-$25/hour
