Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Restaurant Servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills and advance within the food industry.

Duties

Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent guest services throughout their visit
Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely communication with kitchen staff
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards and safety protocols

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
