Location: All school, South Shore Regional Centre for Education

The South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE) practices the culturally responsive pedagogy approach in providing an inclusive, diverse, equitable, safe and healthy education that supports learning and success both personally and academically to the 59,000 residents of Lunenburg and Queens Counties, an area of 5,250 square kilometres and a total of 23 schools.

Reports to: School Administrator

Location: South Shore Regional Centre for Education

Description:

Substitute on call basis for South Shore Regional Centre for Education Schools.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification (minimum TC 5 or ITC preferred)
Bachelor of Education
Experience teaching grades P-12.
Ability to communicate and work alongside diverse cultural and racial backgrounds.
Ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism.
