Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role

Insignia College is looking for a creative, energetic, and results-driven Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for someone who understands social media trends, enjoys creating engaging videos and visual content, and can turn everyday student and campus activities into content that attracts attention and generates interest in our programs.

This role is ideal for someone who can take an idea from concept to completion — planning, filming, editing, writing captions, and publishing content across our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
Film and edit professional and engaging videos featuring students, instructors, campus activities, aviation training, events, and program highlights
Develop creative content ideas and storylines that support student recruitment and brand awareness
Take high-quality photos and videos on campus and during events
Create social media graphics, posters, stories, promotional content, and other marketing materials
Write engaging captions, hooks, calls-to-action, and promotional copy
Maintain a consistent posting schedule across social media platforms
Follow current social media trends and identify opportunities for creative and relevant content
Create student success stories, testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, educational videos, and program-focused campaigns
Work with the admissions and marketing teams to create content that supports lead generation and student enrollment
Assist with promotional campaigns, open houses, student events, and special projects
Monitor content performance and identify which types of content generate the strongest engagement
Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all content
Organize and maintain photo and video content for future marketing use
Be comfortable approaching students and staff to participate in videos and other content

What We Are Looking For

Experience creating social media content, especially short-form videos and Reels
Strong video filming and editing skills
Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and current social media trends
Experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software
Strong photography and videography skills
Creative mindset with the ability to generate original content ideas
Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple content projects
Comfortable working in front of and behind the camera
Ability to create professional content while still making it engaging and relatable
Reliable, organized, and able to meet content deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Coordinator, Videographer, or similar role
Experience creating content for an educational institution, aviation company, lifestyle brand, or service-based business
Knowledge of social media analytics and content performance
Basic knowledge of digital marketing and lead-generation campaigns
Experience with photography equipment, microphones, lighting, and video production equipment
