Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and promoting a love of learning. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a collaborative and supportive setting. Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and French, are highly valued to enhance communication with diverse families and children.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through tailored interactions
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding progress and needs
Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive strategies for children with disabilities or special needs
Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes
Lead classroom routines, manage time efficiently, and ensure adherence to schedules
Demonstrate leadership in guiding children through daily activities and transitions
Write detailed observations and reports on children's development for parent updates and program planning

Requirements

Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator with relevant licensing authorities
Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or similar environments
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in computer operation for documentation and communication purposes
Strong writing skills for reporting and record keeping
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom management, and child development theories

Benifits UPON HIRE. Vacation 4%, 6% after 6 months. RRSP eligibility After 6 months.

Pay: $28.00-$29.00 per hour
