Full job description

SDR provides a complete range of Electrical, Plumbing, and Heating contracting services for new constructions, renovations, tenant improvements and much more throughout Leeds & Grenville, Lanark &. Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Counties. SDR takes pride in giving our customers a positive experience at a competitive price. We are currently hiring a Licensed Plumber.

Responsibilities:

Represent company in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.
Install, maintain, and repair all types of piping systems, fixtures and other equipment used to distribute, supply, or dispose of water or wastewater, including fixtures systems and appliances in residential buildings.
On-site problem diagnosis, accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner.
Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, and soldering.
Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines.
Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.
Ability to use modern technology.
Must be able to work the occasional evening and weekend.

Qualifications:

Certified 306A Plumber.
Four years of experience in plumbing.
Class G Driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
Outstanding customer service skills.
