Job Summary

Embark on an exciting journey as a Plumbing Apprentice, where you will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the plumbing trade. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in a variety of settings. This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn industry best practices, improve your technical abilities, and build a solid foundation for a rewarding career in plumbing and construction.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various tasks on job sites.
Support the assembly and fitting of plumbing components according to specifications.
Help with routine maintenance tasks to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Willing to work occasional after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with tools and construction principles.
Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment under supervision.
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various environments throughout the day.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
Previous plumbing experience is an asset, but not a required.
Reliable and punctual.
Positive attitude and work ethic.
Must have a valid driver license.
