At Montana’s we strive to own the BBQ & Bar space in Canada. Food is a huge part of our lives and we play favorites! We LOVE anything and everything from the grill. We love our food to be authentically smoked, saucy, grilled, meaty, tender and delicious. Our team is authentic, carefree, down-to-earth, unpretentious, energetic and fun. As a Heart of House Associate you’re responsible for consistently and accurately producing our fire-grilled awesomeness.

Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to the infectious energy of our team.
Prepare all food items to the highest standard following recipes and procedures.
Anticipate and respond to the flow of orders to ensure timely completion of food items within Montana’s standard for all Guests in the restaurant.
Be a subject matter expert about our regular and promotional food menus.
Accurately complete all set up and closing procedures.
Maintain product quality and presentation standards.
Adhere to all safe food handling procedures and uphold food safety practices.
Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards of your area.
Follow all operational policies and procedures.
Complete your online learning tests as required.

Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

Constant standing/walking for the duration of shift on a hot cooking line.
Occasional pushing, pulling and light lifting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Brooks, AB T1R 0V5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
