Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in delivering a positive, memorable customer experience through exceptional service. Your expertise in the hospitality industry and your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will enhance our guests' experience, making them feel valued and satisfied. Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, promptly clearing tables.
Complete side duties ie.cutlery, sanitizing menus, stocking etc.
Set up tables, monitor reservations and ensure adequate seating
Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and transactions.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, change rooms and lounge/entrance way

Experience

2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry is required
Smart Serve Certified required
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Time-management skills to maintain a prompt dining experience while completing side duties throughout shift
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Familiarity with various drink recipes and food pairings for customer recommendations
Fine dining experience an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week(must be available evenings and weekends
