Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and customer service, with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency to deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer questions or special requests
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for cashiering and order processing
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Kitchen experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Skills in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience
