Since its inception in 1965 as a custom Tool & Die machine shop; Guelph Manufacturing Group Inc. (GMG) has evolved into a leading manufacturer and supplier of metal stampings, assemblies, headrest and armrest inserts, wire form, and other metal components to the automotive industry. Celebrating 60 years as a family-owned company, GMG has 3 plants in Guelph, Ontario. Our sales office is located in Warren, Michigan.

Position Summary:
- All accountable items issued to skilled/production workers (sign out system).
- Requisition any products required for inventory in crib. (Min/Max on die components).
- Receive or possibly ship to suppliers (by courier service).
- Keep inventory of assorted items.
- Keep Tool Crib clean and in an orderly fashion.
- Measure all incoming punches and buttons to requisition sizes.
- Data collection and entry.
- Maintain die repair log.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum grade 12 is an asset.
- Previous tool crib attendant exposure would be an asset.
- Manufacturing experience is a must.
- Familiar with precision measuring tools.
- Good skills in Microsoft Office.
- Cutter grinding experience a definite asset.
- · Manage the issuance and return of all accountable items issued to skilled/production workers using a sign out system.
· Maintain accurate records.
· Requisition of any products required for inventory in crib. (Min/Max on die components).
· Receive or possibly ship tools or parts to suppliers (by courier service).
· Maintain an inventory of assorted gases.
· Maintain the Tool Crib in a clean and in an orderly fashion (5S).
· Measure all incoming punches and buttons to requisition sizes.
· Pick up parts as required.
· Will comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
· Any other duties as assigned.
