About Nexus Finance
Nexus Finance is a Montreal based business financing firm helping Canadian and American entrepreneurs access working capital fast. We are building a high performance sales floor in our brand new Ville Saint-Laurent office and are looking for an experienced sales manager to own the floor completely.
About the Role
This is a floor management role in the truest sense. You own everything that happens between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. BDRs, Account Executives, submissions, floor culture, performance, hiring, training, and daily operations all report through you. The founder focuses on strategy and growth. You focus on execution and results.
This is not a player coach role. You are not closing deals yourself. You are making the people on your floor close more deals by being present, coaching in real time, setting standards, and holding everyone accountable to them every single day.

What You Will Do
Run the daily morning huddle at 9am every day. Cover previous day numbers, today's targets, floor energy, and any issues. Keep it to 15 minutes. Set the tone for the entire day.
Monitor the floor in real time. Know who is dialing and who is not. Know who is having conversations and who is struggling. Intervene before problems become patterns.
Coach BDRs and AEs daily. Listen to calls, give immediate feedback, run objection handling sessions, and develop your team continuously. The better your team performs the more you earn.
Do second voices on live deals. When a closer needs support on a live merchant call you are there within 60 seconds. That real time support is what converts stuck deals into funded deals.
Own all performance management below leadership level. Late arrivals, underperformance, attitude issues, CRM hygiene, script compliance. You handle it. The founder never hears about it unless termination is required.
Own BDR hiring. You screen resumes, run first round interviews, and present top candidates to the founder for final approval. You onboard new hires and ensure they are productive within their first 30 days.
Track and report metrics weekly. Dial counts, submission rates, transfer quality, funded deal volume by rep, self sourced versus assisted deals. You present a clean weekly summary to the founder every Friday. One page, five minutes to read.
Manage the renewal pipeline. Every Monday you pull the list of merchants at 60 to 70 percent repaid and assign renewal follow up tasks to the appropriate AE. You track renewal conversion and hold AEs accountable for working their existing book.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 3 years of sales management experience on a phone based sales floor. Experience in MCA, business financing, mortgage, insurance, or any high volume B2B phone sales environment is a strong asset. Proven track record of developing sales reps and improving team performance metrics. Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset for the Montreal market. Comfortable with CRM systems and performance tracking tools. Natural floor presence and the ability to command respect without being authoritarian. Coachable enough to align with our systems and processes even if you have done this before.
Compensation
Base salary of $60,000 depending on experience. Performance override of 1% of total Nexus Finance commission on all funded deals from the floor you manage paid monthly. Total compensation for a strong sales manager at full floor capacity is $85,000 to $100,000 annually.

The Office
Brand new space in Ville Saint-Laurent. Full sales floor, modern setup, competitive environment. This is a full time in office role Monday to Friday. The floor needs you present every day.
Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
