We are currently seeking skilled General Construction Labourers to join our dynamic and versatile team for year-round and seasonal work
Position Summary:
BECL is currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable General Construction Labourers to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity offering competitive wages, a supportive team environment, and comprehensive benefits. Wages & Compensation:
- $20.00 – $26.00/hour, based on experience
- Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half for any hours worked over 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week
- Travel allowance available for those commuting from outside the Bow Valley area

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed
- 40–55+ hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas
- Set up and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
- Mix, pour, spread, and grade concrete and gravel
- Assist equipment operators and signal movement of machinery
- Operate small tools and equipment, such as compactors, compressors, and pumps
- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently
- Work alongside heavy equipment and assist operators as needed
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with crew members and supervisors
- Use hand tools such as rakes and shovels to level materials
- Maintain job site cleanliness and perform general housekeeping
- Direct traffic on job sites to ensure safety
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- CSA-approved safety boots (required)
- CSTS certification or equivalent (asset)
- Previous construction experience (asset)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prepared to work in varying weather conditions (rain, cold, heat)
