Full job description

Position Overview:

The Warehouse & Facilities Assistant supports the day-to-day organization and maintenance of our warehouse operations. This role ensures smooth logistics, inventory control, maintains a well-organized warehouse and helps support small installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain warehouse organization to ensure safe, efficient storage and easy access to merchandise.
Receive incoming shipments and inspect furniture.
Perform small deliveries to client’s homes or businesses, including assembly, within the Bow Valley area (e.g., dining chairs, side tables, décor, coffee tables, lamps, etc.).
Drive the delivery truck safely and responsibly.
Deliver stock or supplies between the warehouse and stores.
Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory control processes.
Assist with light maintenance tasks around the store and warehouse.
Perform regular inspections of the delivery vehicle, monitor fuel usage and ensure it remains in good condition.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

Valid Alberta driver’s license and clean driving record.
Canadian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
Ability to lift and move heavy boxes, stock, and supplies.
Experience with basic tools and furniture assembly.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
