Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Business and Operations Manager, the Bracing Program Lead will focus on delivering exceptional patient care, driving sales and leading the continued growth of our bracing program.
This role is a unique hybrid of clinical liaison, retail leader, and business development professional. Working closely with physicians, surgeons, and allied health providers, the Program Lead will integrate bracing into the patient care pathway while building a high-performing, scalable retail program.
Patient Care & Clinical Integration
- Engage directly with patients in:
- Orthopedic clinics
- Sport medicine clinics
- Acute injury clinics
- Assess bracing needs and guide product selection
- Provide expert brace fitting and education
- Ensure all recommendations are clinically appropriate and evidence-based
- Deliver post-purchase follow-up and support
- Build strong relationships with physicians, surgeons, and allied health teams
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive monthly sales targets
- Convert clinic patients into bracing clients
- Deliver a premium, consultative sales experience
- Optimize product mix and recommend appropriate solutions
- Leverage key supplier partnerships (e.g., Bauerfeind)
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities (e.g., rentals, bundled care solutions)
Program Development & Leadership
- Develop and refine patient care and referral workflows
- Establish best practices for brace selection and fitting
- Build scalable systems to support program growth
- Train and support team members in bracing knowledge and customer experience
- Continuously improve operational efficiency and service quality
Marketing, Outreach & Partnerships
- Strengthen internal referral pathways within the clinic
- Build external relationships with:
- Physiotherapy clinics
- Family physicians
- Local healthcare providers
- Represent Banff Sport Bracing in the community through events and partnerships
- Support educational initiatives, workshops, and outreach efforts
Data Reporting & Performance Management
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including:
- Sales performance
- Conversion rates (clinic → purchase)
- Referral sources
- Product performance
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership
Retail Operations Oversight
- Oversee daily retail operations and ensure high service standards
- Collaborate with support staff on inventory and merchandising
- Ensure the retail environment reflects a professional, clinical standard
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, sport medicine, orthopedics, or retail sales (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to drive sales and build relationships
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
- Experience with bracing, rehabilitation, or medical devices is an asset
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
