Full job description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated HCA/Support Workers to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a variety of settings, promoting their independence, well-being, and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives and possess excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where your support can significantly impact the lives of those you assist.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Support clients in medication management and health monitoring as required
Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering trust and confidence

Requirements

Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in healthcare or support work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
Relevant certifications such as First Aid or CPR are advantageous but not mandatory
Must be reliable, patient, and committed to delivering quality care

Pay: From $17.90 per hour
