Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the front desk operations of our year round 90 room premier destination Resort located in Manitoba. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services, managing front desk staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanour, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred, along with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and guest relations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay
Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures
Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and special requests to enhance their experience
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support as needed
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety standards
Manage guest complaints or issues promptly to resolve concerns effectively
Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times

Experience

Previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality roles is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
Experience working with multi-line phone systems and reservation software is preferred
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and patience
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $37,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
