About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at a busy convenience store offering fuel, grocery items, and liquor/beer. This role involves a mix of receiving orders including liquor/beer, cashier/customer service duties, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked store. Being a team player is a must, as your efforts directly affect your co-workers.

Key Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Operate cash register, debit/credit, and lottery terminals
Process fuel transactions and monitor pumps
Be comfortable IDing to sell age-restricted products (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in compliance with PEI regulations.
Receive deliveries including liquor
Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
Maintain cleanliness of the store, coffee station, and slush machines
Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks
Handle customer questions and resolve minor issues
Follow all health, safety and security procedures

Requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable and able to work independently
Comfortable handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment
Able to take direction and maintain store standards
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
Must be 19+

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
