Highroad Excavating Ltd. is growing, and we're looking for hardworking, reliable Labourers to join our civil construction crews.

At Highroad Excavating, we specialize in underground utilities, site servicing, bulk excavation, grading, and municipal infrastructure throughout the Lower Mainland. We take pride in delivering quality work safely while supporting one another as a team.
Whether you already have construction experience or you're eager to learn, we're looking for people with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to be part of a professional crew.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with underground utility installations, including storm, sanitary, and watermain systems.
- Support excavator operators and pipe layers during excavation and pipe installation.
- Assist with trenching, grading, backfilling, and site preparation.
- Operate hand tools, compactors, pumps, and other small equipment safely.
- Set up trench boxes, shoring, barricades, and other site safety equipment.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and productive jobsites.
- Follow Highroad Excavating's safety standards and WorkSafeBC requirements.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a strong work ethic and enjoys working outdoors.
- Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work every day.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is physically fit and capable of performing demanding work.
- Wants to learn new skills and build a career in civil construction.
- Has previous construction or civil construction experience (an asset, but not required).
- Holds a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and has reliable transportation.
