Full job description

Central NB Woodlands is seeking to fill the position of Truck and Transport Service Technician to support our Doaktown and Chipman garages , with a reliable and motivated individual who demonstrates a positive attitude towards teamwork.

What we offer

Full time hours (45h/week, shift work)

Perform heavy equipment maintenance activities, including installation, repair, troubleshooting, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance of equipment.
Disassemble and reassemble engines and mechanical units to inspect and diagnose parts using computerized test equipment, calibration devices, gauges, etc.
Repair and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Follow all established safety policies and standards, including proper identification, use and procedures for handling or disposing of hazardous waste.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Red Seal Certification as a Truck and Transport Service Technician.
Must be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be autonomous and detail-oriented.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
