JOB SUMMARY
The Dual Mitre Saw Operator is a critical role on ITB’s production line. They will be responsible for cutting and bending material in preparation for production and fabrication. Candidates for this position will possess mechanical and technical skills, physical strength and stamina, as well as being able to interpret specifications and/or instructions verbally or via blueprints.

LOCATION
Our Coaldale, AB plant is located just off highway 3 and is an easy commute from Lethbridge or Taber. We roughly have 140 employees and are continuing to expand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operation of Dual Mitre Saw
· Operation of Chop Saw
· Operation of Shear
· Operation of Table Saw
· Operation of Steel Band Saw and Kaltenbach
· Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
· Conducts quality control checks
· Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
· Crosstraining on operation of Brake Press to form metal into the appropriate specifications in conjunction with design and fabrication requirements
· Crosstraining on operation of Laser Table to cut metal to the appropriate size in conjunction with design and fabrication requirements
· Palletizes and packages material to ship and distribute as required
· Use and maintain all related tools and equipment in conjunction with maintenance
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results on other assigned tasks
· Any other duties as required
GENERAL
· Know and apply company safety rules, policies, and relevant occupational health and safety legislation
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
· Work in a professional and ethical manner
· Use of hand, power and air tools safely and as required
· Provide support for other departments as necessary
· Properly fill out daily time sheets and target hour sheets
· Develop effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors, always treating others with respect
· Be receptive to a changing environment and circumstances
· Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
· Previous experience with Dual Mitre Saw would be an asset
· Exposure to basic hand and power tools
· Strong ability to read blueprints
WORKING HOURS
· Permanent Full-Time
· Core hours are from 7:00am – 3:30pm
