Acupuncturist / TCM Practitioner Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments in accordance with professional standards
- Educate patients on treatment goals, wellness strategies, and ongoing care recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners to support integrated patient care
- Build and maintain a sustainable patient caseload through exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes
Qualifications
- Registered Acupuncturist and/or Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner licensed to practice in Alberta
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-informed care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic environment
- Passion for helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals
- Additional Skills & Interests Considered an Asset: Cupping Therapy, Electroacupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities, Pain Management, Women's Health, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Stress Management and Wellness Care
