Bonnyville Bolt Supply Ltd. is seeking a dedicated, versatile, and experienced Finance & Administration Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations and office administration of our business.
In this role, you will serve as a core point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal staff. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, smooth payroll administration, regulatory compliance, and seamless daily operations. Working closely with executive leadership, you will play a key part in fostering team unity, driving operational efficiency, and contributing directly to the ongoing success and prosperity of BBS.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee all AP and AR functions. Process customer payments and vendor invoices accurately and on time. Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reporting & Planning: Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements and month-end reporting. Assist leadership with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Compliance & Remittances: Administer payroll, payroll remittances, and payroll tax reporting. Prepare and submit GST filings and other government remittances on schedule.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Office Administration & Customer Relations
- Inbox & Communication Management: Manage the finance and sales email accounts, ensuring prompt, professional responses and timely follow-ups.
- Front Desk & Client Services: Provide front desk coverage, warmly greeting customers, handling incoming calls, and responding to inquiries, concerns, and requests with exceptional professionalism.
- Operations Support: Coordinate overall office administration, maintaining structured, organized record-keeping and filing systems.
- Executive & Team Collaboration: Support management with custom reporting, documentation, and administrative projects. Assist other departments as needed to support seamless daily store operations.
Leadership & Culture
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize office, financial, and administrative processes.
- Team Unity: Serve as a cornerstone of the BBS team, collaborating with executive leadership and promoting a unified, positive, and supportive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Key Attributes
- Experience: Proven track record in full-cycle accounting, bookkeeping, payroll administration, and office management. Experience in an industrial supply, retail, or trades-adjacent environment is an asset.
- Software & Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient with accounting software, payroll systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace suite.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of Canadian payroll compliance, GST filing, month-end financial reporting, and cash flow tracking.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding customer service skills, professional phone etiquette, and strong written communication.
- Organization & Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational abilities with high accuracy in data entry and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Work Environment
- Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience (To be discussed during the interview process).
- Work Schedule: Full-time on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Location: Fully on-site at our Bonnyville store location.
