Loader Operator

Knelsen Sand and Gravel Ltd. provide premier road, concrete, log haul, and precast construction products and services. We supply gravel, asphalt paving, ready-mix concrete, and offer reliable transportation services in trucking throughout Alberta, including Grande Prairie, Peace River, High Level, and Edmonton.

Who We Are Looking For, and What We Have to Offer

Our team is looking for full-time loader operator for our Portables plant: Red Deer, AB location. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

Responsibilities

· Minimum 1-2 years of concrete loader operator experience

· Responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient operation of the loader and plant loading equipment

· Fully trained in the operation and capability of a front-end wheel loader

· Ensure the yard is always maintained and clean

· May require considerable physical activity, must be capable of heavy lifting, bending, and twisting

· Be mechanically inclined and technically competent

· Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime

· Have a valid driver's license and driver’s abstract according to company policy

· Meet all Safety requirements and policies

· Pre-employment drug screening in effect

· Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day/night) in inclement weather

Travel allowance payable based on the successful candidates point of hire.
